A Movement to Serve

Not Just Consume

MANY WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

Following Jesus leads us to be servants to those around us and to engage others with the hope that is in Him. While Jesus calls us to live this out in our personal lives, as a church, we also desire to mobilize our body to collectively share the grace of Christ with the Ohio University community and the city of Athens. This is the heart of H2O Athens's mission: to proclaim the gospel through our love of God and our love of Athens.

Some of our serving opportunities include evangelism on campus, serving pancakes on Friday nights, handing out coffee on campus, and serving with Good Works to provide meals for families in need within the Athens community. You can sign up for our current serving events here.

  • EVENTS & OPERATIONS TEAM

There is much that happens "behind the scenes" so that H2O can function effectively, smoothly, and legally all while presenting the gospel truth and love of Christ through our various programs and special events. We are looking for volunteers who have a heart and a mindset to be a part of a supportive, administrative network and are detailed orientated. We are also looking for hardworking, creative volunteers who have a heart to serve in the planning, set up, and execution of our events.
